About Our Client
The client is a well-funded, stable e-commerce organization, and one of the largest in its region. It is a B2C marketplace, backed by top investors and consists of a great team from a quality background. It has a very strong marketing and design presence in India, and to oversee their marketing efforts across multiple geographies, they are looking for a Marketing Manager based out of Gurgaon.
Reporting to the co-founders, the candidate would be responsible for overall marketing strategy, communication, merchandising and design, along with optimal category mix for the organization. A complete 360 degree view of marketing - large scale campaigns, marketing calendar and various promotions, with a vision to increase online footfall, customer acquisition and retention, would be essential. You would be building your own team and working closely with the founders to support their rapid growth.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate would be a top-tier MBA who comes with 2 - 4 years of work experience - consulting experience is mandatory, while e-commerce experience is beneficial, especially at a category level. Excellent analytical skills, familiarity with numbers, process management and presentation, as well as cross-functional working would be essential to do well at this role.
