About Our Client
Our client is a billion dollar MNC in consumer durables, known for its iconic product portfolio and its presence across India and abroad. Their focus in India is to build their portfolio and introduce new products, and with that in mind, they are looking for a Capability Development Lead to drive their extensive sales force.
Reporting to the National Sales Head, the incumbent would look after the sales and training capabilities for the entire South region, which is the largest for the organisation in India. He/she would create and execute the learning and development plan and training modules for the region's salesforce, create new programs for capability development and be the influencer and leader for the same. Coordination between multiple internal stakeholders as well as growing salesforce skill sets to groom them for a leadership role, would be the other responsibilities.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate would have 6 years of work experience across sales, training and people management, preferably across insurance, pharma and FMCG organizations. It is essential for the candidate to be comfortable with being a people's person, while having the ability to lead from the front. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must. The candidate should also be open to travel extensively within the region. Fluency in any of the region's languages would be an added advantage.
